Beverages
Beverages can provide hydration and serve as an additional
nutrient source. For older infants (6 months+), ½ cup or 4 fl oz of 100% fruit and/or vegetable juices can provide 1 full serving of fruit/vegetable in a day. 100% juice is a healthy choice and can count as 1 fruit serving
per day at most when consumed as part of a well-balanced diet. Other fruit/vegetable servings should come from whole, peeled, mashed, or pureed fruits/ vegetables. Gerber’s 4 fl oz single-serve 100% juices make consuming
appropriate amounts of juice easy.
